BILL BOARD PERMITS-A
stand alone sign usually rented to a business or organization for the
purpose of communicating institutional messages or selling products and
services in general to the public and specifically to commuters and located
away from the advertisers place of business.

The fee for bill boards 24 square feet and
larger is $500.00. For two sides bill
boards, contact the administrator of exact permit fees.
For Bill Boards less than 24 square feet, the permit

TOWER PERMITS-All towers 50 feet or more in
height above ground level (agl) must secure a variance from the Board of
Adjustment.

Tower Fees:
Private, non-commercial towers less than 50
feet in height above ground level-a permit is required, but
there is NO fee. For towers 50 feet and higher
above ground level, the permit fee is $50.00 plus
$2.50 per foot in height above 50 feet.
Commercial towers less than 50 feet above ground
level, the permit fee is $500.00 For
towers 50 feet and higher above the ground, the permit fee is $500.00plus $2.50
per foot in height above 50 feet.
Commercial Microwave towers less than 50 feet above ground
level, the permit fee is $500.00 For
towers 50 feet and higher above the ground, the permit fee is $500.00 plus $2.50
per foot in height above 50 feet.

Permit Fees:
For structures under 1,500 square feet, the permit fee is
$25.00.For structures 1,500 square feet and larger, the
permit fee is $50.00. In addition, proof of insurance may be
required. Contact the Administrator regarding conditional waivers of
permit fees.

PERMITS FOR SWIMMING POOLS

Permit Fees:
The permit fee for above ground pools is $25.00. There
is NO permit or fee required for wading pools.
For residential and commercial in ground pools, the permit fee is $25.00
plus a construction fee. The value used to calculate
the fee will include the cost of constructing the pool in addition
to the cost of usual and normal fixtures for pool use including but
not limited to fences and concrete aprons around the pool.
A safety inspection is required for all pools, except wading pools,
prior to use.

Home Construction Permit plus $250.00 per year as is customary
for mobile homes.

TEMPORARY USE/BUILDING PERMIT

Permit Fees:
The Permit Fee for vending/display stands, tents, circuses, carnivals side
shows, businesses, exhibitions, meetings, or similar events is $50.00
up to 144 sq. ft. Temporary structures greater than 144 sq. ft. in
area, the permit fee is $50.00 plus $10.00 for each 100 sq. ft,
in part or whole.
The permit will be valid for 60 days from the date of issue.
There is NO Permit Fee when an event structure is fully
operated and sponsored by a recognize religious, civic, charitable, or

SITE PREPARATION

Fees:
Business or multiple housing, the total fee is $50.00,
in addition to all other fees that apply.
Fees and site plans are due (20 days) prior to
beginning of site preparation.

(1) All fees are
effective as of May 08, 2012
(2) When a structure is begun, or has been
built or installed without a permit, the permit fee shall be increased by 100%.
(3) No fee shall be less than $25.00.
(4) All structures require a permit,
this includes but not limited to masonry walls, accessory buildings,
out buildings, patios, decks, porches, car ports, residences,
commercial buildings, and additions to existing buildings. and dog
houses with 18 square feet and 4 feet or more in height, provided that all
required yards and set backs for accessory buildings are maintained, and
provided that all dog houses with a related run or penned enclosures
obtain a permit.
Permits are required for trees and shrubbery that
are planted with in (20 feet) of streets, roadways, or alleys; they must
be in conformity with Article VIII 810-6, NO FEE will be charged for
permits for trees or shrubbry.
(5) Permits are not required for wire or
wooden fences and farm structures used in farming (Article VII, Section
710).
(6) Permits are REQUIRED
before SITE PREPARATION OR CONSTRUCTION BEGINS.
Application for a permit must be made at least (20 days) prior to any
activity toward actual site preparation.
(7) Fees are based on the cost/value of the
structure including heating, cooling , wiring, plumbing fixtures, built-in
cabinets, shelves, and other accessories or utilities that would not
normally be removed if the structure should be sold.
(8) When building costs cannot be
ascertained or where the stated costs are unrealistic, the cost of the
permit will be calculated by the cost of construction on a square foot
basis.
(9) For residential structures in a (R-1) zone a cost per square
foot of $80.00 will be used to calculate permit fee. For all other residential zones,
(R2) and (R3) zones, $70.00
per square foot will be used to determine the permit fee.
